very interesting, i think the next one i get i'll keep its skull so i can see exactly where the pellet strikes when you hit them with a text book headshot, also where it exits and what sort of skull fragmentation that causes.

Good video well done, i found it very usefull, when you consider just how accurate pellet placement really id for the "perfect" shot.

Great idea Kwiky, would be interesting to see the aftermath of the shot :)

Just shows a difference between a head shot & a brain shot.
Looking at a rabbits head in one peice with fur / ears etc It looks a big target.
With the skull side on the lower part by the neck joint is more solid bone, no match I don't think for a pellet & a shattered neck is a killer allso.
Before I measured I thought it might of been an inch.
Unfortunately I can't confirm the age of the donor, assumeing adult 3/4" max really means within 1/2" to avoid the extreme outer edge that might mean injury rather than death.

A good visual demonstration of why you need to pratice practice and practice till your skill and confidence is high enough to know exact pellet placement at a given range before committing to any quarry shots
